Session Type and Length

Tips when scheduling your consultation:

Session Types:

In-person: scheduled directly with Writing Consultants by name
Video: select a time listed under Video Session
Email: select a time listed under Email Session

Session Length

30-minute appointments:
- papers 1-5 pages in length
- good for brainstorming or "getting started" sessions
60-minute appointments:
- papers longer than 5 pages
- all graduate-level sessions
- all Video and Email sessions

Please note:
The schedule defaults to 30-minutes for all in-person appointments; please adjust the time if required. If a 30-minute session is scheduled for a longer project, please understand if your Consultant can't cover everything within the time limit. We would be happy to help you schedule another session the next day or beyond.
